This week, Jamie Lane sits down with Demi Horvat, CEO of AirDNA, to discuss the US mid-year short-term rental outlook report. We have seen another month of intense demand, up 11.9%, slightly up from last month, although we did see a dip in supply growth, down to about 15%. We've also now seen 15 consecutive months of declining occupancy, but those are off the record highs of 2023. Inflation has become an issue in the economy which has caused the FED to raise interest rates which have now created a slowdown in investments in short-term rentals. With the mixed bag of news around the industry, demand remains strong.
